Facebook Identity Theft Reported By Governors Office

Gov. Bobby Jindal’s office reported an incident of alleged Facebook identity theft Tuesday involving a top aide who is spearheading the administration’s state employee pension revamp.

Plotkin said the governor’s office immediately contacted Facebook to report the identity theft and Facebook removed the controversial post.

The post said: “I notice a lot of you disagree with the Governor’s reform, but rest assured it will be a lot better than being unemployed. We are watching you.”

The post created quite a stir on Facebook while it was up with responses like “Hopefully you are kidding,”
